Meet Michelle

I am Michelle Y. (Parham) Shawver, Ed.S., a certified life coach, educational leader, and wellness advocate. Through MYPS, LLC – Life Coaching & Wellness, I help individuals find clarity, restore balance, and move through life transitions with confidence and intention.

With more than 20 years of leadership experience, I understand the weight of responsibility, the impact of stress, and the quiet exhaustion that often comes with caring for others while trying to remain grounded yourself. My work is deeply informed by my background as a school principal and administrator, where I have guided teams, supported families, and led through change, crisis, and growth. That experience shapes my coaching approach—one that blends structure with compassion, strategy with reflection, and accountability with grace.

My coaching philosophy is built on the MYPS pillars of Growth, Balance, and Transformation. I help clients slow down, reconnect with their values, and create sustainable plans that support both personal well-being and forward momentum. Whether you are navigating burnout, a career shift, grief, life realignment, or simply feeling stuck, our work together focuses on helping you move from overwhelm to clarity—and from survival mode to intentional living.

My passion for wellness and balance is not only professional—it is personal. I am a mother of five plus two bonus children, a grandmother of two and five bonus grandchildren, and a great-grandmother of two bonus great grandchildren.  These roles have deepened my understanding of caregiving, legacy, resilience, and the importance of nurturing both others and oneself. They continually remind me that peace, presence, and alignment are essential—not optional—at every stage of life.

As a certified Life Coach and Mindfulness Practitioner, with advanced training in leadership and human development, I integrate practical tools with calming, reflective practices designed to support emotional regulation, self-awareness, and peace of mind. My sessions are warm, supportive, and purpose-driven, offering a safe space to reflect, reset, and take meaningful action.

At MYPS, I believe peace is not passive—it is practiced. I help my clients mind their peace, honor their journey, and step confidently into the next chapter of their lives with purpose, balance, and self-trust.
